The Barton Flying site has been developed over a period of some ten years and is now one of few where there is flying 365 days per year. It also has the only purpose built hard circle in the whole of the UK. All this has come at great expense to members and other generous groups that have aided us in making this a "Control Line Centre of Excellence". The cost of running the site and ongoing development to improve the site by leveling and draining the flying surfaces continues to exert a financial toll. The Barton Club are indebted to many, not least to some that continue to support what they consider to be a good cause.
